I’m Demelza, a Product Designer based in Brisbane. I’m curious by nature and happiest when I’m learning something new, asking questions and making sense of something complicated.
MY STORY
A slightly winding road to get here.
I didn’t start out in product design. My career began in journalism, moved through marketing and communications and eventually into UX, service design and product design.
Each step has given me a deeper understanding of people — how they think, what they need and how to make complex information clear, useful and human.
APPROACH
Good work is a team sport.
I love working with people who care, ask questions and bring different perspectives. The best work comes from open conversations, collaboration and a willingness to listen, learn and work through things together.
I’m based in Brisbane and always happy to chat about new opportunities, interesting problems or just a good design conversation.
